Narendra Thakare is an accomplished artist with a Masters in Fine Art.

Being an observer, Narendra creates meaningful yet abstract forms over his canvas. Curious thoughts embedded deep within his imagination, intrigue the viewer and lead to an array of discussion within one's mind.

Narendra attempts to describe his existence and it's conflicts, the origin of these conflicts and the anticipations of overcoming them through his works. His works are spaces of belonging, emptiness, of fitting in, of confrontation, of forgetting, spaces that can be measured and analyzed. His forms are constructed, collaged out of materials which are in their actual use, meant for any other purpose but for telling a story. They are filled with shadows, and like pieces of paper suggesting a relationship to a fragmented memory.

The urban claustrophobia, cultural plurality coupled with architectural elements of cityscape are metaphorically externalized in his works. Urbanization, its beneficiaries and victims, its virtues and iniquities are some of the concerns he explores.
